With a professional background in interior design and as a stylist for the events and creative industry, Nicole's experience spans over 25 years covering interior design, decorations, styling, colour consulting, hotel and property development, commercial design, events business management, sales and project marketing and management.

Nicole’s passion for interiors and storytelling through space offers a timeless approach to fusing functionality and aesthetics while bringing emotional meaning to the space - mixing refined with raw, vintage and modern, high and low, textures, pattern and colours in a signature way.

 

Her creative process is organic, largely intuitive and heart-driven where she also strives to create beauty through thoughtful design, blending materials and influences with a special consideration to designing to the client’s needs.

 

Nicole’s designs are committed to honoring place, history, location and architecture whilst pushing boundaries at the same time. Her work employs an intentional use of materiality, spirit, and soulful silhouettes that carry a distinctive voice.

 

Through vision and design, Nicole curates environments for people to expand

their experiences within, heighten their senses, inspire adventure, and broaden expectation through warmth, intimacy and life created within the desired space.

For over five centuries, labeling the elixers of the Gods nostrud By the 18th century, wine trade in Europe was booming, with so-called labels printed on parchment and tied to the bottlenecks with string, much like the hang tags we still see today. And by 1798, labels could be produced in mass, thanks to the invention of the lithograph, and according to one source, led to increased use of color and more emphasis on artistic design. And into ‘70s Europe, winemakers would begin to work with famous artists (Picasso and Chagall, to name a few) to create awe-inspiring bottle labels that would properly represent the quality and unique artistry of the product within. With widespread production of bottle labels, distribution increased and the industry was forever changed.

Every image in Decora's collections can be custom-colored to perfectly align with any desired or existing color scheme ... and also reproduced in any manner and on any substrate that suits your needs.  This would include yet is not limited to paper, canvas,

wood, tile, wallpaper, or hand-painted murals.
